The AS1.200 features automatic ice extraction via an auger in the bottom of the silo.
This system avoids the safety and hygiene risks associated with manual removal of ice from the store.
As the first ice in is the first ice removed by the extraction system, the AS1.200 silo avoids the stagnant ice buildup that plagues other automatic designs such as ice rake systems.
The AS1.200 can also be placed to dose the ice directly to the point of use such as bowl choppers, mixers, kneaders and fish packing points. This saves time, labour and other costs such as conveyor systems, carts etc. If an optional dosing system is added, the repeatability and accuracy of production processes can also be improved and controlled.
