ZBE1.000-BK400 (standard and tropical versions)
 

The ZBE1.000-BK400 consists of a Ziegra ZBE1.000 ice machine, installed on top of a BK400 elevated ice storage and cart system.

The BK ice storage is an elevated bin and cart system which has gravity assisted ice removal and castered cart to deliver substantial labour and safety benefits. The BK is poly lined for maximum scale and chlorine resistance and bin access via SmartGATE with powerhinge door. Exterior finish is stainless steel and the insulated ice cart is a hygienic moulded polyethylene with a removeable poly lid.

Each unit comes complete with bin, base, 2 carts and ice paddle.

The unit operates automatically, stopping when the bin is full and re-starting when ice is removed.

Standard model guaranteed at 20°C air, 15°C water

Tropical model guaranteed at 35°C air, 25°C water

This type of flake ice is made at -0.5°C so will not freeze together, making it ideal where no refrigerated storage is available.

The ice machine is a plug in unit and requires only connection to water and mains power supply. It is continuously rated and works fully automatically. No moving parts in the refrigeration circuit of the evaporator, hence no leaks due to rotating seals.

The hygienic sealed water system, boxed in construction and stainless steel panels makes this machine ideal for installation in factory environments where safety and hygiene are of paramount importance, especially when people may be working around the machine.

Very small flakes of ice, sometimes known as 'crushed ice'. The gentlest type of ice for packing delicate products and also where rapid cooling is required.

Other options
Remote weatherproof or saltwater resistant condenser
A standard packaged ice machine has the condenser built into it. This is fine in enviroments that are cool and well ventilated, with clean air, however for environments that get hot, dusty or do not have very good ventilation a remote condenser mounted outside the building is the solution. Remote machines must only be professionally installed by persons qualified to do so. Remote condensers come weatherproofed as standard for outside installation, however for applications close to the sea, saltwater resistant Cu/Cu condensers are recommended.
Auto drain down and flushing system

Every Ziegra ice machine has as standard a sealed water system for maximum possible water hygiene. However for applications where hygiene is a high priority, additonal systems can be fitted. Auto water drain down empties the water resovoir every time the machine is switched off, preventing water from stagnating in the tank. Auto water drain down is available separately or with an additional auto flushing system. This system can be pre-set to automatically flush through the water system with clean water at intervals pre-determined by the customer.
