ZBE2.500 flake ice machine (standard and tropical versions)

	The ZBE2.500 is a 2.5 tonne chip type flake ice machine with a choice of three different sizes of chip or flake. The machine is packaged, which means it includes the refrigeration, icemaker and controls in one compact unit so installation requires only the connection of utilities and ice pipe/level control. Standard model guaranteed at 20°C air, 15°C water Tropical model guaranteed at 35°C air, 25°C water It is continuously rated and works fully automatically. No moving parts in the refrigeration circuit of the evaporator, hence no leaks due to rotating seals. Chip type flake ice is made at -0.5°C so will not freeze together, making it ideal where no refrigerated storage is available.

Ziegra triple water filtration kit
The Ziegra triple water filtration unit helps prevent the water related problems that can impair the efficiency, reliablity and longevity of any ice machine. Helps prevent the ingress of dirt and dissolved minerals which can coat evaporation surfaces, block lines and jam valves.
Water connection hose (part # 970221124)
Water inlet hose to connect from the outlet of the Ziegra triple water filter and the water inlet of the ice machine.
Large ice scoop
A large polymer scoop for hygienic handling of the ice.


Other options
Remote weatherproof or saltwater resistant condenser
A standard packaged ice machine has the condenser built into it. This is fine in enviroments that are cool and well ventilated, with clean air, however for environments that get hot, dusty or do not have very good ventilation a remote condenser mounted outside the building is the solution. Remote machines must only be professionally installed by persons qualified to do so. Remote condensers come weatherproofed as standard for outside installation, however for applications close to the sea, saltwater resistant Cu/Cu condensers are recommended.
Auto flush cleaning system
The auto flushing system can be pre-set to automatically flush through the water system with clean water at intervals pre-determined by the customer. Ziegra sanitiser can also be added to this flush as an anti-bacterial measure.

Weatherproofing
An ideal option if you don't have anywhere indoors to mount the ice machine. Must be used in conjuction with the remote condenser option. The machine is installed under a GRP weatherproof cover on a sealed base and a cold weather pack fitted to ensure reliable operation during the cold winter months. The machine will often be fitted on top of a flat roof, mezzanine or outdoor ice store with this option.
Insulated ice storage boxes
Double walled polyethylene containers with polyurethane expanded foam interior, designed for storing and transporting ice. Made from food grade virgin USDA/FDA/EU approved polyethylene, PU filled & UV stabilised Strong and DurableStackable for space saving
