ZBE750-2T-SG500 Ice machine and storage
 

The ZBE700-2-SG500 consists of 2 x ZBE375T ice machines on top of an SG500 ice storage bin.

The unit operates automatically, stopping when the bin is full and re-starting when ice is removed.

This type of flake ice is made at -0.5°C so will not freeze together, making it ideal where no refrigerated storage is available.

The ice machines are plug in units and require only connection to water and mains power supply. They are continuously rated and work fully automatically. No moving parts in the refrigeration circuit of the evaporator, hence no leaks due to rotating seals.

The bin is of an upright design and features the unique SmartGate door access system. This system positively controls the flow of ice to the door snout area, thus reducing spillage and also ensures that the first ice in is the first ice out, eliminating hygiene problems due to stale ice in the bottom of the bin. The construction is of welded steel shell and frame with a stainless steel exterior finish.

The bin has non-corroding, seamless polyethylene liner inside. Insulation is non-CFC polyurethane foam, bonded to shell and liner for added strength. The lower door assembly has a poly lift door with PowerHinge to eliminte gaskets and latches. The entire lower door assembly can be removed with three screws for installation through narrow doorways. Upper inspection doors are double wall poly to increase durability and minimise melt losses and condensation. Legs are adjustable from 152mm to 191mm. Bin drain 1” FPT rigid PVC.

Remote weatherproof or saltwater resistant condenser

A standard packaged ice machine has the condenser built into it. This is fine in enviroments that are cool and well ventilated, with clean air, however for environments that get hot, dusty or do not have very good ventilation a remote condenser mounted outside the building is the solution. Remote machines must only be professionally installed by persons qualified to do so. Remote condensers come weatherproofed as standard for outside installation, however for applications close to the sea, saltwater resistant Cu/Cu condensers are recommended.
Auto drain down and flushing system

Every Ziegra ice machine has as standard a sealed water system for maximum possible water hygiene. However for applications where hygiene is a high priority, additonal systems can be fitted. Auto water drain down empties the water resovoir every time the machine is switched off, preventing water from stagnating in the tank. Auto water drain down is available separately or with an additional auto flushing system. This system can be pre-set to automatically flush through the water system with clean water at intervals pre-determined by the customer.

Upgrade to castor mounting

Machine mounted on B.Z.P. corrosion resistant castors instead of legs. Two of the castors are swivel and two are braked swivel. The wheel is white nylon with a ball bearing. The machine is easily moved for cleaning purposes.
