Service, repairs and spare parts

After sales care and support is delivered by the Ziegra UK service department. The department is responsible for the installation of new ice machines, ice makers, storage and ancillary equipment.

The department supports all products with field servicing, technical assistance, spare parts, warranty issues and breakdowns.

A team of dedicated field service engineers take care of all site work and travel in vans fully stocked with spare parts, ensuring that the majority of tasks can be carried out within one visit.

Ziegra only manufacture ice related equipment, so all of our engineers are fully trained specialists in this field with many years experience. All engineers are fully qualified refrigeration engineers and have C&G 2078 safe handling of refrigerants and safety passports.

To assist in more remote areas of the UK and Ireland, we also have a network of experienced service agents experience with our ice machines, who backed by our technical support team and spare parts warehouse are able to respond to customers needs quickly and efficiently.

To assist in the running of the department a sophisticated, fully integrated software package has been installed to control all service related tasks. Every detail of your ice machine or ice maker and its component parts can be called up on screen within seconds, so answers to technical questions over the phone or by email can be quickly and efficiently answered.

Most parts are available off the shelf for immediate despatch and can be tracked online so you always know where they are and when you can expect delivery.

Products:

		Ziegra Triple water filter: The Ziegra triple is designed for large flake ice machines from 500kg/24 hours and upwards. A water filter is essential for ice machine reliability, longevity and efficiency and are now fitted on all new Ziegra ice machines as standard.
		Ziegra Single water filter: The Ziegra Single is designed for small flake ice machines from 30kg/24 hours to 375kg/24hours. A water filter is essential for ice machine reliability, longevity and efficiency and are now fitted on all new Ziegra ice machines as standard.
		Ziegra sanitiser: Ziegra sanitiser is an effective disinfectant to treat bacterial contamination in sealed water systems, yet it is gentle with the materials in your ice machine and food safe. Available in 5 litre tubs and 100ml bottles.
		Installation: After the specification of the machine itself, the most important factor on machine reliability and longevity is a professional installation. Our team of site engineers are specialists in ice machinery and have many years of experience in the installation of ice machines and systems. If you need to move an ice machine to another location, please contact us for help.
		Service Contracts: Like any other machine, an ice machine benefits from regular servicing. Taking out an annual service contract means that the machine will run more efficiently, will last longer and be more reliable in service. Customers with service contracts also benefit from discounted spare parts pricing and receive preferential treatment when we are busy. Non-contract servicing is also available.
		Spare Parts: In the event of a problem developing with your machine, we carry a full range of spare parts off the shelf ready for immediate dispatch. Spare part availabity is guaranteed for a minimum of 15 years from date of purchase, however we are still supporting plenty of machines that are 25 years old.
		Service Kits: We also supply a range of service kits for our machines. These contain all of the genuine Ziegra parts needed to service a given model of machine. Machines should only be serviced using genuine Ziegra parts and only by personnel qualified and competent to do so.
		Refurbishments: Full machine refurbishing service for all Ziegra ice machines. Your machine is brought into our workshop, where it is completely overhauled by one of our engineers. The machine is then stripped, cleaned and rebuillt with new parts where necessary. All work carried out is fully guaranteed.
		Special Tools: A range of special tools to make servicing the ice making cylinder safer, quicker and easier.
		Level Control Systems : A range of ice level detectors to automatically switch a machine off when the ice bin is full and switch it back on as it empties.
Accreditations
				Safecontractor is an accreditation scheme that assesses the health & safety competency of contractors and service providers. Clients have a legal obligation to ensure that external contractors and service providers working on their premises operate in a safe way. There is therefore a need to assess contractors health & safety arrangements and increasingly this is being carried out through Safecontractor.
				Safe handling of refrigerants. All Ziegra engineers trained by Acrib in the safe handling of refrigerants.
				Certificate of registration under the control of pollution (amendment) act 1989. Registration #: CB/FN5818ZA Ziegra Ice Machines UK are registered as a certified carrier of controlled waste.
