Ice Station with 2 carts |
A simple ice machine and bin solution consisting of 2 x ZBE350 ice machines on top of a 500kg capacity ice storage unit. Two machines offer built in redundancy while the SG500's 'SmartGate design ensure that the first ice in the bin is the first ice out, for maximum hygiene. The machine also comes with 2 x 'Ziegra Single' water filters for improved ice machine hygiene and reliability as standard. For installation adjacent to the point of use. Other configurations also available. |
A complete ice production, storage and handling system consisting of 2 x ZBE350 ice machines on top of a 400kg ice storage unit. The system offers all of the advantages of the ZBE700-2-SG500, but with the addition of a cart based ice handling system. When a lever is pulled on the machine, the cart is filled by gravity, eliminating the need to shovel ice from the bin. The system comes as standard with two carts, each of which holds 109kg. For installation into a central ice production area, the ice is distributed around the supermarket by cart. Spare carts available. |
An ice station consists of a Ziegra ice machine with a special outlet to fill two carts in turn. A level control system on the end of each pipe switches the machine off when the cart is full. Options such as automatic switching of the cart being filled eg by timer are available, as are spare carts. |

Automatic System for icing large fish displays |

| For very large fish displays, automatic systems are available that convey ice through a flexible pipe straight to the display. This system is the safest and most hygienic way to ice a large display, as it completely eliminates manual handling of ice within the supermarket. This removes any risk of personnel injury due to shovelling or slipping on ice and also significantly reduces the risk of ice contamination. The system is usually installed either on a mezzanine above or behind a wall at the rear of the fish counter. | ||
