The ZBE350-K45 consists of a ZBE350 ice machine on a K45 frame and cart system. Storage is via a plug-in ice removeable ice cart. The unit operates automatically, stopping when the cart is full and re-starting when an empty cart is plugged in.. This type of flake ice is made at -0.5°C so will not freeze together, making it ideal where no refrigerated storage is available. The ice machine is a plug in unit and requires only connection to water and mains power supply. It is continuously rated and works fully automatically. No moving parts in the refrigeration circuit of the evaporator, hence no leaks due to rotating seals. The hygienic sealed water system, boxed in construction and stainless steel panels makes this machine ideal for installation in factory environments where safety and hygiene are of paramount importance, especially when people may be working around the machine. The storage system consists of an elevated frame with drainage system built in with a small buffer tray on the top. The main storage consists of a Smartcart 240 which holds 109kg of ice. When the cart is full, the filling handle is pushed on, blocking the ice flow into the cart and the cart drain is closed. The cart can then be wheeled to where the ice is needed. The machine carries on producing ice for a short while into the upper tray when the cart is removed, only stopping if the tray becomes full. Once the cart is ready to refill, simply replace under the frame, re-open the cart drain and pull the filling handle out, any ice in the upper tray will be tipped into the cart and the machine will begin filling the cart again. The upper tray has a non-corroding, seamless polyethylene liner inside. Insulation is non-CFC polyurethane foam, bonded to shell and liner for added strength. The feed hopper is constructed from polyethylene and has an extra large opening to facilitate ice flow. The base has built in drains for the carts and insulated drain troughs, shutter door and drain pan to minimise condensation. Auto drain down and flushing system |

Every Ziegra ice machine has as standard a sealed water system for maximum possible water hygiene. However for applications where hygiene is a high priority, additonal systems can be fitted. Auto water drain down empties the water resovoir every time the machine is switched off, preventing water from stagnating in the tank. Auto water drain down is available separately or with an additional auto flushing system. This system can be pre-set to automatically flush through the water system with clean water at intervals pre-determined by the customer. |
